Overview

Building upon the success of the original Elite-Series speakers, the Yorkville EF215P is a professional, easy to use, powered portable PA speaker well suited for musicians, singer/songwriters, mobile DJs, and other sound providers. The most bass-heavy speaker of the Elite series, this full-range cabinet is well suited as a FOH mains speaker, side-fill, or powerful DJ monitor. Please note, the EF215 does not offer a pole cup, so using a tripod speaker stand is not an option. However, the unit is relatively lightweight at 93 lb and works well in a ground-stack configuration. Additionally, there are 8 fly-points for flexibility in deployment. When used as a main speaker, a pair of EF215Ps are well equipped to cover an audience of up to 400.

A push button on the back of the speaker allows you to physically switch between four different EQ and tone modes: Club, Concert, Vocal, and User, which is setup up via the Bluetooth Yorkville app with a maximum of five different parametric equalization points with adjustable boost, cut and Q. A dedicated subwoofer button engages a high-pass filter, essentially removing frequencies below 100 Hz when using with a subwoofer. There are two indicators: a red clip LED and a yellow limit LED, which provide accurate and safe operation, even when driving hard.

The EF215P has a bypassable 2-channel mixer section, which includes a line input with a combo XLR-1/4" jack and a 3.5mm TRS input jack with level control and a microphone input with an XLR input and dedicated level control. If using an outboard mixer or linking several speakers (up to 16), use the main combo XLR-1/4" input. An XLR Thru output passes the signal from the main or mixer input to additional speakers. The 2400W (Peak) Class-D amplifier powers the dual 15" woofers and 3" compression driver, providing a full-range frequency response of 40 Hz to 16 kHz (±3 dB) and a max SPL output of 133 dB. The 60 x 40° coverage pattern provides even coverage of the audience area, while keeping the sound off the walls, ceiling, and floor. With the E215P trapezoidal enclosure, two EF215P speakers can be arrayed, which not only expands the horizontal coverage to 120°, but also would also increase the SPL by an additional 3 dB. The EF215P ships with a 25' IEC power cable.
