Overview

The ART Tube MP Project Series Single-Channel USB-B Audio Interface and Tube Preamp is a quality audio interface that connects a microphone, instrument, or line-level signals to a mixer or other audio input, or to a digital audio workstation via USB-C. For convenience when traveling internationally, a universal power supply (100 to 240 VAC) and four plug adapters are included.

The preamp uses a high-quality 12AX7A tube to add warmth to the source material. The input Gain control and switch helps to maximize your input dynamic range as well as control how hard you are driving the tube. Input impedance is switch selectable to optimize your microphone response right on the front end. A FET Limiter with fast attack and musical release times allows you to maximize the dynamic range of your signal before converting to digital. Other features include precision LED-level metering circuitry and an aluminum stackable chassis. One of the nice features of USB is its Hot Swap capability, allowing the Tube MP to be connected and disconnected without turning the computer off.
