American DJ Focus Profile 400W LED Moving Head

Overview

Lighting designers in search of a professional-caliber automated luminaire will be impressed with the American DJ Focus Profile, a bright feature-rich moving head that's well suited for theatrical, concert touring and event production applications.

The Profile features a 400W LED engine (rated at 20,000 hours), 540° pan and 270° tilt with 16-bit fine control, motorized focus, and a motorized zoom from 7 to 45°. Other notable features include four rotating framing shutters plus shape rotation, two gobo wheels (7 interchangeable rotating-indexing gobos and 8 static-stamped gobos), a 6 dichroic color wheel with variable CTO and full CMY color mixing, and two rotating/indexable prisms (one 6-facet linear and one 3-facet circular). It also has two frost effects (heavy frost and light frost) to create soft edge wash looks. This fixture features six selectable dimming curves as well as numerous built-in effects.

For controls, the unit features three DMX channel modes (36, 40, 51) with 3-pin and 5-pin XLR DMX input and output connectors, as well as an RJ45 connector for ArtNet protocols. Multiple units can be daisy-chained to create complex lighting installations. The color display on the front panel shows DMX addressing and function settings, controllable via the six-button interface.
