This cardioid dynamic step-up is built to survive the realities of day-to-day use and still produce clear, full-range vocal reproduction every time. Its superior internal shock mounting reduces handling noise. The microphone’s cardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source.
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise and ambient audio at the off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. The result is minimal ambient noise and feedback from nearby monitor speakers. Internal shock mounting impedes handling noise and a two-stage grille delivers protection against plosives. Gold-plated XLRM contacts increase conductivity for proper signal transfer. An on/off switch is featured for added user control and the rugged construction ensures years of rigorous use. The PRO 41 ships with a 15′ XLR cable, a stand clamp, and a soft protective pouch.
